Introduction
Welcome to Storyvia.
This Privacy Policy explains how Storyvia handles information when you use the Storyvia mobile application and related services.
Storyvia is a language-learning application designed to help users learn languages by reading stories, reviewing vocabulary, practicing words and language patterns, and tracking their learning progress.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, you may contact us at:

Information We Collect
Storyvia is designed to minimize the collection of personal information.
At the time this Privacy Policy was published, Storyvia does not require you to create an account or sign in to use the application.
We do not intentionally collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, or other directly identifying account information through an account-registration system because Storyvia currently does not provide user accounts.
Storyvia does not currently use analytics services to track how individual users use the application.
Learning and Progress Data
Storyvia may store information related to your learning activity on your device so that the application can provide learning and progress features.
Depending on the features you use, locally stored information may include:
- Your selected learning language or languages.
- Your selected application language.
- Your selected difficulty or learning level.
- Stories you have opened or read.
- Story reading progress.
- Completed stories.
- Words, phrases, patterns, idioms, grammar items, or other vocabulary encountered or saved during learning.
- Vocabulary review progress.
- Known or learned vocabulary status.
- Practice and review history.
- Reading activity.
- Learning streak information.
- Daily learning-goal progress.
- Application preferences and settings.
This information is primarily stored locally on your device to provide application functionality, offline access, learning history, and progress tracking.
Because this information may be stored locally, deleting the application or clearing its application data may result in the loss of locally stored learning progress unless a future version of Storyvia provides an explicit backup or synchronization feature.
Story and Learning Content
Storyvia may communicate with the Storyvia backend service to retrieve educational content, including stories organized by language and difficulty.
When the application communicates with the backend, standard technical information required for internet communication may be processed by the server or hosting infrastructure. This can include information such as IP addresses, request timestamps, and technical request information that may appear in standard server or infrastructure logs.
Storyvia does not use these requests to create advertising profiles or behavioral analytics profiles.
Downloaded story content may be cached or stored locally on your device to support application functionality and offline reading.
Analytics and Tracking
Storyvia does not currently use analytics services for behavioral tracking.
Storyvia does not currently use advertising tracking technologies to build advertising profiles.
Storyvia does not sell your personal information.
Storyvia does not use your learning activity for targeted advertising.
Authentication and User Accounts
Storyvia currently does not require account registration or authentication.
Because there are currently no Storyvia user accounts, learning progress is primarily associated with the local application installation and device storage rather than a cloud user account.
If account functionality or cloud synchronization is introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be reviewed and updated as appropriate.
Data Sharing
Storyvia does not sell your personal information.
We do not intentionally share your locally stored learning progress with advertisers.
Information may be processed by infrastructure providers when necessary to operate the Storyvia backend or deliver story content. Such processing is limited to what is reasonably necessary to provide and maintain the service.
We may also disclose information if required to comply with applicable law, a valid legal process, or an enforceable governmental request.
Data Retention
Learning progress and preferences stored locally on your device may remain there until:
- You delete or reset the relevant data through application functionality, where such functionality is available.
- You clear the application's data through your device settings.
- You uninstall the application, subject to the behavior of your operating system and any device backup mechanisms.
Server and infrastructure providers may retain standard technical logs for operational, security, reliability, or legal purposes according to their applicable retention practices.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to design and operate Storyvia with privacy and security in mind.
However, no electronic storage system or internet transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security for your device and operating-system account.
Children's Privacy
Storyvia is a general language-learning application.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through an account-registration system because the application currently does not provide user accounts.
If you believe that personal information relating to a child has been collected in a manner inconsistent with this Privacy Policy, please contact us at sahancansarki@gmail.com.
International Use
Storyvia may be available to users in multiple countries.
The backend infrastructure used to deliver story content may process technical network requests in countries other than the country where you live, depending on where the service is hosted.
By using online features of Storyvia, you understand that internet communications may involve infrastructure located in different jurisdictions.
Your Choices
Depending on your device and the available application functionality, you may be able to manage or remove locally stored application information by:
- Changing settings within Storyvia.
- Clearing Storyvia's application data through your device settings.
- Uninstalling Storyvia.
Please note that removing locally stored data may permanently delete your learning history and progress if no backup or synchronization functionality is available.
Third-Party Services
Storyvia may rely on technical service providers or hosting infrastructure to operate its backend and distribute educational content.
Storyvia may also rely on services provided by your device platform, operating system, and application marketplace.
Those third parties may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable terms.
The introduction of additional third-party services that materially change Storyvia's data practices may require this Privacy Policy to be updated.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Storyvia's functionality, technology, legal obligations, or data practices change.
When we make material updates, we will update the "Last Updated" date displayed in this policy.
You should review this Privacy Policy periodically for changes.
