About Storyvia
Storyvia is a language-learning application designed to help users practice languages through reading stories and interacting with educational content such as words, phrases, patterns, idioms, grammar items, pronunciation, examples, and learning exercises.
Storyvia is intended as an educational and self-study tool.
We do not guarantee that using Storyvia will result in fluency, certification, examination success, employment outcomes, or any particular level of language proficiency.
Eligibility and Appropriate Use
You may use Storyvia only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.
You must not:
- Attempt to disrupt, damage, overload, or interfere with Storyvia or its backend infrastructure.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or services associated with Storyvia.
- Use automated methods to abuse, excessively scrape, or overload Storyvia's services.
- Circumvent technical measures intended to protect the application or its services.
- Use Storyvia for unlawful purposes.
User Accounts
Storyvia currently does not require user registration or authentication.
Your learning progress may therefore be stored primarily on your device.
If user accounts are introduced in the future, additional terms or updated Terms of Service may apply.
Local Data and Learning Progress
Storyvia may store learning progress, settings, vocabulary, reading activity, completed stories, learning streaks, and other application data locally on your device.
You are responsible for maintaining access to and appropriate backups of your device.
Unless Storyvia explicitly provides a backup or synchronization feature, we cannot guarantee recovery of locally stored learning progress after:
- Application deletion.
- Application-data deletion.
- Device loss.
- Device damage.
- Device replacement.
- Operating-system changes or resets.
You acknowledge that locally stored progress may be permanently lost in these circumstances.
Educational Content
Storyvia provides educational content intended to assist with language learning.
Although we aim to provide useful and accurate content, language can vary according to context, region, dialect, register, and usage.
Translations, meanings, pronunciations, examples, grammar explanations, difficulty classifications, and other educational material may contain errors or may not apply equally in every context.
You should not rely on Storyvia as the sole authoritative source for professional translation, legal interpretation, medical communication, emergency communication, or other situations where linguistic accuracy may have significant consequences.
Story Content and Online Availability
Some story and educational content may be retrieved from Storyvia's backend services.
The availability of specific stories, languages, difficulty levels, or features may change over time.
We may add, modify, replace, or remove educational content when reasonably necessary to maintain or improve the service.
Downloaded or cached content may be available offline depending on application functionality, but we do not guarantee that every feature or item of content will always be available offline.
Intellectual Property
Storyvia, including its application design, branding, original educational content, software, graphics, mascot, and other original materials, may be protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
Except where expressly permitted by applicable law, you may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, license, publicly distribute, or commercially exploit protected Storyvia materials without appropriate authorization.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Storyvia or its intellectual property to you.
